Dear Classmates,

Time flies. The holidays are over once again and we can all look forward to our next Class Reunion. Can you believe it has been 42-47 years since we graduated? Our reunion includes classes 1953 through 1958. That's what we like best about our last 4 reunions. When we were in high school, we knew everybody, not just our own class. We see so many more people this way. In 1995 we had 138 people at the banquet. We also had quite a few who came to visit but couldn't stay for the banquet.

Please bring any old pictures, scrapbooks, annuals, Tiger Rags, whatever you have. We will have a hospitality room to sit around in Friday night and Saturday. We may need these things to "help us remember". Joan Rose is looking for a 50's DJ. We really enjoyed the one she found 5 years ago. By the way, don't worry about what to talk about after all these years. We can always talk about our "ailments"

The Reunion will be at the HOLIDAY INN SELECT, 11350 LBJ and Jupiter. This is the same hotel we used in 1990 and 1995. We have a group room rate of $59 For reservations call 1-800-346-0660 and tell them that you are with the Clarksville High School Reunion. Please make reservations early as you can always cancel. In 1990, some didn't call soon enough and had to stay across the highway.

We are asking everyone to send their banquet check to the person listed for your class by April 15 We know that something could come up for a few after their checks are sent and we will return your money up to 5 days before the banquet. Just call any of the 6 persons listed to cancel. The cost for the banquet will be $30 per person. This will include the dinner on Saturday night, tax, tip. and expenses such as the DJ, Hospitality Room, bartender, mailing and copy cost, etc. We usually end up with some left to start the next Reunion.

For those of you who haven't been, many of us check in on Friday afternoon. We visit and have dinner. On Saturday we will have breakfast and stay busy greeting the Saturday arrivals. The Banquet will be at 7:00 p.m. with a cocktail hour around 6:00p.m.  Sorry drinks are on your own. Also if anyone wants to come who isn't a class member this is great. Just contact any - one of the listed people. On Sunday morning we'll have breakfast or brunch and say our "goodbyes". I suppose the next one would be in 2005. We guarantee everyone who comes will be glad they came!
